Day Two of Big 12 Media Days

Matt Roberts provides the latest on day two of the 2014 Big 12 Media Days in Dallas.
Day two of Big 12 Media days in Dallas included Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas State, Iowa State and West Virginia. Charlie Strong made his first trip to Big 12 Media days as head coach. The Oklahoma Sooners, who are the conference favorites, also spent some time with the media as Coach Bob Stoops brought Trevor Knight as his starting quarterback. However he also mentioned he believes former Texas Tech quarterback Baker Mayfield should be allowed to play right away.

The day began with Coordinator of Big 12 Officials Walt Anderson addressing a few minor rule changes, probably the most significant being the targeting rule, in which last year a targeting ejection could be reviewed and overturned. This year that will not be the case. So, with media days wrapped up most teams will report to camp next week with the Red Raiders beginning practices in August 4.
