LUBBOCK,TX- The Pena family is hoping items found last weekend at a neighborhood search for missing 26 year old Andrew Pena, will lead to clues in the young fathers' disappearance.

Pena was last seen in Plainview on April 6th; his family said they have not seen or heard from him since.

On May 3rd, his family organized a neighborhood search, so crews could dig through ditches and fields along FM 400.

Anonymous tips from Crime Stoppers narrowed down the search area for the family.

After a full day of searching, family members said they found two cellphones, several shirts and shoes.

They have been sent to a state lab for DNA testing, thanks to samples provided by Pena's father Angel.

Plainview Police Chief Ken Coughlin said his department has just over 30 officers, but more than 100 people showed up Saturday for the search party.

He said the extra man power was instrumental in finding these possible clues.

Coughlin said it would take a few weeks, if not months to process the found items; but it could help them find out what happened to Pena.
