Leslie Adami

LUBBOCK, TX - Leslie Adami is the weekday morning news anchor and live noon reporter for KLBK News. She joined the team in January 2016 and loves living in Lubbock!

A Coastal Bend native, Leslie is originally from Corpus Christi, but had always attended school in Sinton, a small town just north of Corpus. Upon graduation from Sinton High School in 2012, she moved to Austin where she attended college at the University of Texas.

While at UT, she got a head start on her career in broadcast news as a reporter and an Executive Producer for the university’s news programs: KVR News and Good Morning Texas.  She also interned with the San Patricio County newspaper, KRIS 6 News in Corpus Christi, CNN World Headquarters in Atlanta, and with Spectrum News in Austin.

She graduated from the University of Texas in December 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a Certificate in Latino Media Studies.

When she’s not working on a story, Leslie enjoys working out, catching up on her favorite Netflix shows and spending time with her family, friends and her sweet dog J.R.

While here in Lubbock, Leslie hopes to learn everything she can about the Hub City and its people, and despite the rivalry, she also hopes to make it out to more Red Raider games!
