There's a new brand of food made from super grains grown right here in the South Plains.
Glen Scher, one of the leading farmers for growing sorghum in Plainview, says the grain is becoming more popular in foods like cereals and cake mixes in the grain berry brand.
Sorghum is said to contain more antioxidants than blueberries.
And it also holds other health benefits more than most other grains.
Grain Berry brand cereals and mixes are already being sold in United and Market Street Supermarkets.
