LUBBOCK, TX -- A fundraiser called the AgTexas Tractor Drive recently donated $104,949.78 to food banks including the South Plains Food Bank in Lubbock.

A John Deere 5045 tractor travelled to various FFA events starting in mid-August.  The events were to raise money and awareness.  The FFA chapter in Breckenridge raised the most money and won the tractor.  Meanwhile the food banks received enough support to provide more than half a million meals to Texans in need.

AgTexas Farm Credit presented the donations to David Weaver, CEO of the South Plains Food Bank, on Saturday.
