Heart disease.
"It is the number one killer in women"
Doctors say it's more deadly than all forms of cancer combined.
.....it's really important we bring awareness to the forefront in women so they can know to keep an eye out for their numbers, their cholesterol, their blood pressure, have a healthy lifestyle as far as eating correctly, getting exercise, and we can prevent a lot of these deaths.
Marnida Henirich knows, personally just how important that healthy lifestyle is.
.  My mother and my grandmother both personally died from stroke.
That's why Heinrich is now the GO REd for Women chairwomen.  She wants to draw attention to a cause that's close to her heart.
"women tend not to talk about heart disease"
But because heinrich says its a silent killer...*talking about heart disease is something she's encouraging.
. If they experienced a heart attack, what kind of symptoms did you have.  It's not the typical symptoms that a man has.
But she says there are ways to lower that risk.
.  Small change in your life can make a big difference.
.  Take the stairs instead of the escalator or the elevator.  Get out and walk around the building if you have 10 minutes at work.  It doesn't have to be all at one time.  If you can work in 30 minutes a day of some type of exercise, you're good to go.
