A Cult Classic, a New Panto, A Holiday Favorite and Some Christmas Rock

Lubbock, TX - James Franko stars in The Disaster Artist. It's a real-life story, based on the life of  writer/director Tommy Wiseau, famous for his bad movies. The film chronicles the making of his film, The Room, which has become a cult classic. It's rated are and runs just an hour-and-a-half. See why it's getting rave reviews only at the Alamo Drafthouse.

The Lubbock Community Theatre's Christmas Show is sure to be a hit. It's titled: Cinderella -or- Prince Charming Gets the Boot: A West Texas Panto. A Panto is a style of theater: a traditional fairy-tale with over-the-top characters, songs, dancing, and, in this case, plenty of inside jokes about Lubbock. It runs through the 10th. The  Lubbock Symphony Orchestra hosts a  holiday pops concert: The Heart of Christmas. The holiday-rock band, Jeans 'n Classics are the special guests, and it's sure to be a memorable performance.
