Lubbock, TX - Auggie enters the fifth grade: his first time in a public school, or any school. His deformities make him the subject of mockery and insensitive jokes, but the little guy faces up to his truth and will help you find yours. Granted, his parents are Owen Wilson and Julia Roberts, but 9-year-old Jacob Tremblay will play his way into our news-hardened hearts. "You can't blend in when you were born to stand out." It's rated PG and runs almost two hours. Catch the Wonder at the Alamo Drafthouse or either Cinemark.

The Lubbock Community Theatre wraps its run of "Anne of the Green Gables" this weekend.Local playwright Sylvia Ashby adapted the novel to the stage. It's the story of a young ladies trials and tribulations into womanhood on a farm. Get your tickets to the last three shows through lubbockcommunitytheatre.org.

Lubbock Moonlight Musicals has some holiday magic for you at the Civic Center. Miracle on 34th Street runs the rest of this month and next, around the holidays. It's the perfect compliment to the Junior League's Holiday Happenings. Get your tickets through Select-A-Seat.

Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash. Justice League is rated PG-13 and runs just shy of two hours. Bust the block at the Alamo Drafthouse and every other Lubbock theater.
