Central Lubbock Home Damaged After Overnight Grass Fire

(LUBBOCK, TX) - An overnight brush fire in central Lubbock is now under investigation.

It started just before 1:00 Monday morning, in the 3000 block of 57th Street.

The homeowner told dispatchers that the fire was between his home and the house next door.

Fire crews reported some damage to the home, but they were able to quickly contain the flames before they spread inside.

No one was hurt.
