LUBBOCK,TX- How can four families become one in just one day?

It happened Saturday at LifeGift Lubbock.

In April 2012, 17-year-old Joshua Castro died in an ATV accident in Loving, New Mexico.

Castro was an organ donor.

His heart went to a hunter from Lake Charles, Louisiana.

His kidney and pancreas to a diabetic mother from north Houston.

His liver went to Michael Jenkins of Pampa, Texas.

His wife Mary, is thankful for her husband's second chance.

"It is just amazing, because we have grand babies and they lover their Paw-Paw," Mary Jenkins said. "I just can't imagine life without him."

Castro's family and friends met with all three recipients Saturday, where they swapped stories of Joshua and the recipients new lives.

All four families are now big supporters of organ donation and encourage everyone to find a reason to become one too.
