DPS Troopers Release Names of 5 Killed in Overnight Crash

DPS troopers release the names of the five killed in a crash near Seagraves, Sunday morning.

Romulo Molina, 39, of Sherman was the only occupant in the GMC who was wearing a seatbelt and was not ejected.

All five occupants of the GMC, Luis Valenzuela, 26, of Sherman, Romula Molina, David Dominguez-Juarez of Mexico, Isabel Garcia-De La Cerda, 35 of Sherman and Juan Carlos Enriquez Mendoza, 31, of Mexico were all killed in the crash.

Troopers tell us it happened about 3:30am about one mile north of Seagraves on Highway 62, about 60 miles southwest of Lubbock.

They say a Dodge Ram pickup with two occupants struck the back of a GMC pickup with five occupants causing both vehicles to leave the road and rollover.

The five people in the GMC were all ejected and died at the scene.

One person from the Dodge truck was air lifted to a hospital in Lubbock.

The other person from the Dodge fled the scene and was located in Seagraves this morning.
