It was another long shooting drought that sunk the Lady Raiders on Tuesday night in their 72-65 loss to Kansas State.

Texas Tech (6-10, 0-5 Big 12) was able to overcome that in the 2nd half and cut the deficit to two points, thanks to a 32-point effort by Amber Battle, the first Lady Raider to eclipse the 30 point mark since Patrice Edwards back in 2007; but that was as close as they would get dropping their 6th straight game, and 5th straight in Big 12 play.

Minta Spears was the 2nd leading scorer for the ladies with 12 points including 2 of 5 from behind the three point arc breaking her 0-for-24 drought to start Big 12 conference play.

The Lady Raiders return to action on the road this Saturday when they take on the Cowgirls in Stillwater.
