Dusty Hannahs provided a spark off the bench but it wasn't enough in Texas Tech's 87-81 loss to West Virginia on Wednesday.

The sophomore guard scored a career-high 25 points and was 7-for-7 from three-point range.

After falling behind 20-10 in the first half, Texas Tech (10-9, 2-4) went on a 16-0 run to jump in front of the Mountaineers 26-20.

West Virginia would start the second half on a 7-0 run and never look back.

The Mountaineers' Terry Henderson scored 20 of his 28 points in the second half.

Texas Tech hosts No. 25 Oklahoma at 3 p.m on Saturday.
