(LUBBOCK, TX) - Covenant Health's Hospice of Lubbock will continue their annual holiday tradition of Light Up A Life fundraiser this year.
Light Up A Life will be from November 29 to December 21.
Light Up A Life represents a time to celebrate life as well as helping support the mission of Hospice.
There will be one "Hospice Blue" tree lit on South Quaker Avenue in front of Haverty's.
The other tree will be in the South Plains Mall near the women's Dillards store.
The Hospice of Lubbock Christmas tree inside the mall will be available to place a card on to honor or memorialize a loved one.
Also, collectible angel ornaments will be sold at the Christmas tree in the mall.
The ornaments will be $25.
The fundraiser will have the tree lighting ceremony on Wednesday December 4 at Haverty's at 6:30 p.m.
There will be music, lighting of the tree, a proclamation from Mayor Glen Robertson and a reception.
The public is invited to attend.
Hospice of Lubbock is the only non-profit hospice in the region that is dedicated to both pediatric and adult care.
Hospice of Lubbock has provided compassionate care to terminaly ill patients and their families since 1987.
