LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech women’s basketball will host TCU on Jan. 3 to begin Big 12 Conference play and will end the regular season on March 2 at Baylor, as announced by the conference office on Wednesday.
The nine conference home games combined with the 10 non-conference home games brings Tech’s home schedule to 19 games for the 2014-15 season.
Tip times and a broadcast schedule are expected to be announced in the next couple of months.
The conference schedule features a double round robin format for the fourth-consecutive year consisting of 18 games with squads playing each other twice. The team, or teams, that finishes with the best winning percentage in league games will be crowned the Big 12 regular season champion.
The Lady Raiders will play five home games in January against Oklahoma (Jan. 10), Kansas (Jan. 21), West Virginia (Jan. 28) and Kansas State (Jan. 31) following the conference opener on Jan. 3 against TCU.
There will four more chances in February to catch the Lady Raiders in action at United Supermarkets Arena with games against Iowa State (Feb. 11), Baylor (Feb. 18), Texas (Feb. 21) and Oklahoma State (Feb. 28).
