The Lady Raiders lose to South Florida 71-70 in the first round of the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament at the United Spirit Arena. The Lady Raiders end the season 21-10 and five seniors ended their college careers Saturday night.

Texas Tech Head Coach Kristy Curry says she could not be more proud of her girls.

"I really appreciate our crowd, I thought they were incredible. We appreciate their love and support. I was proud of this team I thought they gave them everything they had, we just weren't able to make a few plays down the stretch. As hurt as we are right now and disappointed, I certainty don't want to take away from the year that these kids have had and I'm very proud of them and I'm proud to be their coach and I'm proud the way they represent the Double-T," Coach Curry.
