(LUBBOCK, TX)-- A Lubbock child is one of only 13 nationwide whose wish will come true at Disney World in 2014. It's a trip dedicated to kids with chronic or terminal illnesses. Te' Green, 11, is the first kid from Lubbock to be chosen by Bert's Big Adventure.

Since he was 12-months-old, Te' has suffered with Seckel Syndrome. Te's mom, Shondria Foster, says it has been hard on their family, but her little boy has never given up the fight.

Wednesday morning, Te', his little brother, his mom and his grandmother leave for Disney World,  all thanks to Bert's Big Adventure, a non-profit helping kids with different types of illnesses, just like Te'. Shondria tells us this trip will be a much needed break from therapy for Te', a chance to spend time with families who know what they are going through, and an opportunity for her to spend quality time with her boys.
