When Justin and Laura Anderson's daughter Jacqueline passed away they wanted to honor her memory.

"Justin and I talked about it and just though, you know, we would really like it to be something that would be for other kids instead of something more for us or for people just to see."

The Anderson's decided to give money to the Salvation Army to purchase bikes for Toys for Tots and the Angel Tree.

"After seeing our daughter and seeing how much she loved riding her bike this year we really wanted to try to get some bicycles to people who might not have them otherwise."

Laura and Justin remember Jacqueline being only 17 months old when she first fell in love with bikes.

"It's like she just fixed her gaze on the bike and said 'Me do dat, me do dat' ...and so I told her I said 'Sister do you know we have that bike at home?' and she just got this huge smile on her face and so we went home and she just took off."

This Christmas the adults in the Anderson's extended family gave money to the Salvation army instead of exchanging gifts.

"We're all blessed and we can give gifts to our own kids and so we just gave that money to the Salvation Army instead."

The Anderson's hope they can help those in need.

"You know there's nothing that we can do to change our life but maybe if something good can come out of that then I think that's what we're on this earth to do."
