LUBBOCK, TX -- The Federal Aviation Administration requires each airport to conduct a mock plane crash every three years to keep their certification.

Members of the fire department, police department, University Medical Center, Covenant Medical Center, and many other city response members were there for 2 hours for the drill.

Volunteers played the roll of victims with everything from small cuts to broken bones and even fatalities.

The first responders met after the drill to discuss the drill and start planning ahead for the next drill in 2017.
