Lubbock Police Hunt Friday Morning Armed Robber

(LUBBOCK) -- Police are looking for a man they say held up two West Lubbock convenience stores Friday morning.

Police say the suspect went into the EZ Mart at 5444 50th Street, at 1:11 a.m.. He pulled out a handgun and yelled at the clerk for the register money.
The clerk gave him an unknown amount of cash, and the suspect ran.

Then at 1:44 a.m., Police say he hit the Rip Griffin Shell Station at 4704 4th Street in the same way: showing a gun and demanding register money.
He ran from the store with another unknown amount of cash.

Police describe him as a Black, between 5'9" and 6', weighing around 190 pounds. He was wearing a black nylon head cap, a black leather jacket, a black and white button-up shirt,  a red undershirt, and red shoes.
