LUBBOCK, TX -- On Friday the Lubbock County Medical Examiner released the names of three victims in a fiery crash Monday morning along Highway 87 at the intersection with Farm to Market Road 41. The ME identified them as Calvin Voneravong, 21, of Texas; Tyler “Shane” Wagers, 21, of Ohio; and Karolina Mora, 26, of California.

The three were members of Liberty in North Korea, an organization dedicated to bringing freedom to North Korean refugees. The Department of Public Safety said they were in a passenger van that pulled in front of a semi-truck that was carrying a highly flammable liquid. The driver of the semi suffered serious injuries but is recovering.

A memorial to the victims has been established and there is more information at the Facebook of LiNK (Liberty in North Korea).
