Well it was long and crazy weekend for the Texas Tech Red Raiders and it was worth every moment. For the first time in school history the Red Raiders will make their first appearance in a Super Regional.

Ryan Moseley got the start for the Red Raiders yesterday and after the altercation with both dugouts he would proceed to deliver his fifth strikeout of the night and that would get them to the bottom of the 6th

But then the rain came, the tarp rolled out and everyone was called off the field.

The game would resume after a 38 minute rain delay. But shortly after, another rain delay would hit and there goes your ball game for the night. Tech leading things 1-0 in the top of the 8th with 1 out

So here we are five out remaining for the Red Raiders. Jonny Drozd gets the call. Miami would chop one right into the ground to 3rd. A smart throw home but it was in time. Redman misses the tag and we are now tied.

Same inning a big pitch made by Drozd and he would turn to second to start the 1-4-3 double play. Now we are all knotted up at 1 a piece going into the bottom of the 8th.

Tech at bat... Ryan long with the 2-2 count and would go down looking to end the inning... 1-1 game still tied.

Johnny Drozd done so Chris Sadberry would take over, but in a little trouble in extra innings. It was 2 on for Miami. They got a rip to right field and would bring around the go ahead run and Miami would take the 2-1 lead in the 10th.

Miami would load the bases but Tech’s defense would show up big to get out of the inning. Miami leads 2-1 headed to the bottom of frame. But Miami would hold their on to defeat Tech 2-1 and force a deciding game 7

Game 7 will resume in 1 hour.
