One Dead, One Hospitalized Following South Lubbock County Shooting

(LUBBOCK COUNTY, TX) - Investigators with the Lubbock County Sheriff's Office are not looking for any suspects following a deadly shooting Thursday night. 

It happened around 10:20 p.m. at a home near Woodrow Road and Indiana Avenue. 

When sheriff's deputies went to the home to do a welfare check, they found the victim's body and the suspected shooter wounded. 

She was airlifted to a Lubbock hospital. 

Right now, authorities believe this may be a murder-attempted suicide case. 

Investigators have not released the names of those involved.

*Upon arrival two subjects located outside residence. Both with gunshot wounds but alive at that time. Apparent murder/attempted suicide/domestic/ex-spouse

*Victim- Tracy Don Dennis 53yoa- deceased at location

*Suspect-Patricia Diana Dennis 51yoa-critical condition/in custody

*Medium caliber semi-automatic handgun used during the incident and located at scene
