LUBBOCK, TX—Dozens of Paul McCartney fans lined up at the Lubbock Civic Center Monday for wristbands that will enter them into a lottery for concert tickets.
Each wristband is assigned a number to be randomly drawn the first day of ticket sales on Friday, April 25 at 9:15 am. That number will then start the ascending order for the line.
Although the wristband doesn’t guarantee tickets, fans like Brenda Driver are hopeful theirs will be the lucky number.
“We grew up with the beatles so for Paul McCartney to come to Lubbock to actually honor Buddy Holly it’s just phenomenal,” said Driver.
Wristbands will be available at the civic center until Thursday at 6 pm.
Each wristband entitles a person to four tickets.
Tickets will still be available to the general public without a wristband; however, you will be behind those who have one.
