(SHALLOWATER, TX) - A Shallowater family is without a home after a late-night fire.

The call came in to dispatchers shortly after 10:00 Wednesday night.

Fire crews spotted flames coming from the mobile home on the 2900 block of Wells Street.

The family who lived there made it out safely.

The Red Cross was called in to help.

After the flames were extinguised, firefighters were unable to roll their hoses back onto the truck because they were frozen.

No word on what started the fire.
