The Rooted and Growing Family Conference is a two day event that will teach parents and families how to deal with tough issues like finances, blended families, and talking to your kids about sex and drugs.
Marsha Sharp is the conferences keynote speaker and a member of the Second Baptist Church.
There is a dinner Friday March 28th at 6:00 pm with the first breakout sessions lasting until 8:30 pm afterward.
Breakfast is served Saturday March 29th at 8:30 am with breakout sessions after from 9:00 am until noon.
Tickets for the conference are $25, which includes both meals, and children's meals and attendance is free.
You must pre register by 5 pm Thursday March 27th. You can register at the Second Baptist Church at 6109 Chicago Avenue or online at www.secondb.org.
