Texas Tech ended an eleven-game losing streak to Texas with Saturday's 59-53 win.

Senior Jaye Crockett scored a team-high 22 points and grabbed ten rebounds in his final game at United Spirit Arena.

"What can you say, it's been neat watching him develop," Texas head coach Rick Barnes said. "When you look at his lineup, he's the most impressive guy on the floor."

Jordan Tolbert added 11 points off the bench including a three-pointer in late in the game to give the Red Raiders a 55-48 lead with 1:07 to play.

"It was clutch," Crockett said. "He sank it and we need that.  It really sealed the game."

Seniors Jamal Williams and Kader Tapsoba joined Crocket and Dejan Kravic in the starting lineup for Saturday's home finale.

"I'm really happy for our seniors to get this win," Tubby Smith said. "It's a speical time and always memorable moment when you can win your last home game in your career."

Texas Tech returns to the court to face Oklahoma State in the first round of the Big 12 Men's Championship at 6 p.m. Wednesday in Kansas City.
