LUBBOCK,TX- Things are slowly getting better for folks at White River Lake.
Recent storms brought several inches of rain, raising the lake level by four feet.
The lake is still 32 feet below its' full capacity, but Tom Fulton with the White River Lake Municipal Water District said, every little bit helps.
This year the lake hit its' lowest level ever, but is back to the same level it was exactly one year ago.
Fulton said the four year drought most of the state has been in is to blame for the low water levels.
The summer months have brought more people to the lake for fishing and camping.
