It was a night of celebrations for Alexa.
Not only was it her 5th birthday party, it was a remission party, and to top it all off-- Make-A-Wish pulled off a little something special to surprise her.
Alexa has a rare disease called Opsoclonus Myoclonis Syndrome, or OMS for short.
She has undergone ten rounds of chemotherapy and taken more medicines than most take in their lifetime.
"It's not always been an easy four years and it's great to finally be able to celebrate," Alexa's Mom, Becky, said.
So for the little girl who's been through so much, the Make-A-Wish Foundation surprised Alexa with a trip to Disney World.
"It's been a whirlwind and an amazing whirlwind at that. I'm very excited for Alexa. She's very deserving of it," Alexa's Dad, Brooks, said.
"She's most excited to get her hair and makeup done like a princess and wear her princess dress to the park and she wants to meet Captain Hook," Becky said.
"I'm going to go on all the fun rides," Alexa added.
