Four Lubbock Police Officers Honored in Ceremony

Four Lubbock police officers were honored today.
    Officer Doak Funk received a life saving award for preventing a woman from trying to kill herself.
    When he arrived on the scene a woman had a belt around her neck.
    He was able to remove it and get her immediate medical help.
    And officer Cody Brenon found a suicidal man hanging from playground equipment at a city park.
    He was able to get him down and perform CPR, saving his life.
    Chief Roger Ellis says he's proud to present both officers with the award.
    Officer Jeremy Steen was promoted to Sergeant.
    Officer Brady Cross was promoted to Corporal.
