LPD Searching for Two Suspects Involved in Shooting

Lubbock police are asking for your help in locating two suspects who may have been involved in a shooting that happened May 21st.

Suspect one, 21-year-old Markquis Tates, is a black male, with black hair and brown eyes, he is about 151 pounds and stands 5'7''.

Suspect two is 21-year-old Paul Pina, a hispanic male, with black hair and brown eyes, he is about 180 pounds about stands 5'9''.

Tates and Pina are wanted for questioning for the shooting that happened on May 21st at 6500 Avenue T.

The victim shot at the time was injured but in stable condition at a Lubbock hospital.

Tates and Pina are believe to have fled the seen in a white SUV but didn't get far after crashing at 63rd and Avenue T, the two then took off running.

The two currently have active warrants for aggravated assault.
