LUBBOCK, TX--- Lubbock ISD is bringing their drum lines from all four high schools together for tomorrow's 4th of July Parade.

Many of the students, are freshmen and is their first time they'll be marching.

Percussion director J.D. Neal says he loves seeing the students come together and sharing it with the town.

"A lot of these are freshman that have never played some of these drums before in their whole lives," said J.D. Neal. "At least the marching drums, they've been percussionists but they've never marched with the drums so this is the first time a lot of them are doing so."

The LISD marching percussion will be just one of many marching in the parade starting at 9:30 Friday morning.
