LUBBOCK, TX - A local family wants to thank the stranger they caught on video returning their 20-year-old's wallet.
"So, we rewind the camera and we saw a man who had rang the doorbell, and he did try to open the door and he laid something down," Rene Comey, the mom of the son who lost the wallet, said.
The son believed he left the wallet at the gym and didn't even realize it was gone until it was returned.
"I opened the door and looked and I saw it was my son's wallet. So I assume he put it in between the two doors so it would be safer," Comey said.
Comey took to the Nextdoor phone app to thank whoever returned it.
