LUBBOCK, TX - Texas Tech University welcomed a new class of alumni Saturday with the spring commencement. Friends and family covered the Red Raider campus to celebrate their loved ones accomplishments.
“I wish it felt a little longer. I wish I had more college memories. I had a good 4 years worth it just went by so quickly I wish I had more to reflect on,” Keegan Pitts, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science and Kinesiology said.
It was a bittersweet celebration for some they said because it made them realize their time at Texas Tech had come to an end.
“I've had the best four years of college of my life here,” Brittany Brewster, who graduated with a Bachelor in Marketing said.
Several students said their experience at Texas Tech was unforgettable because of not only the knowledge they gained but from all of the memories associated with the college.
“It was a very new experience for me. It was the first time I was out of my home country but Texas Tech was I something I never really expected. It was very welcoming and people helped me a lot,” Divia Mantrahm, who graduated with a Masters in Electrical Engineering said.
