LUBBOCK, TX-- Increase in vinyl-record sales show music listeners are now listening to music on record players more than before. Sales are up by nearly 34% from 2013 according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Vinyl-record sales are the highest the have been in the last 15 years, according to the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry.

"I hope people still love them and embrace them because the artwork is beautiful, the music sounds better," said Doug Stapp from Ralph's Record Store.

Ralph's Record Sore store sells music in all kinds of formats such as records, CD's and cassettes.

"It's warmer it's a lot more fun to read a record, than try to download something because you have no art, you actually have a physical product that sounds beautiful," said Stapp.
