DPS Says Deadly Rankin Wreck Involves Lubbock Man

RANKIN, TX -- The Texas Department of Public Safety said a Timothy Campbell, 32, of Burleson lost his life after a Wednesday night crash on Highway 67 east of Rankin. DPS said Campbell was driving his Ford Taurus westbound when he crossed over into the eastbound lanes and crashed his car into semi-truck driven by William Mills, 42, of Lubbock. DPS said Campbell was not wearing a seat belt and died at the scene. DPS said the investigation into the crash continues.
