Update: Floydada Police Investigate Aggravated Robbery at Allsup's Store Early Tuesday

FLOYDADA, TX - The Floydada Police Department is searching for the suspect who assaulted a clerk and robbed a local convenience store early Tuesday morning.

The aggravated robbery occurred at the Allsups, located at 102 East Houston, according to a Facebook post by the Floydada Police Department.

Authorities later identified the suspect Tuesday afternoon as Robert Anthony Garcia, 21.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Garcia. 

He is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. 

According to Floydada Police, Garcia entered the convenience store and assaulted the clerk.

The suspect took the clerk's car keys and fled the scene in a silver colored 2012 Nissan Altima. The vehicle's plate number is BVN3930. 

Floydada Police are requesting the public's assistance to locate Garcia and the stolen vehicle.
