Happy State Bank Issues Statement After Robbery, Bomb Threat

LUBBOCK, TX - The following is a statement issued Monday evening from Happy State Bank: 

This afternoon at approximately 2:55 pm the Happy State Bank office at 19th and Quaker, Lubbock, TX was robbed. All employees are safe and secure. No customers were in the bank premises.

The crook left on a bicycle heading west from the bank.

Bank personnel are cooperating with the Lubbock Police Department and the FBI. A very, very small amount of cash was taken.

Police released an image of a suspect after the report of a bomb threat and bank robbery.
