LUBBOCK, TX - While in the Hub City on Saturday, Santa Claus will be making a special stop at the Hodges Community Center to meet and greet local pets.
The 9th annual "Santa Paws" event is being held from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The Hodges Community Center is located at 41st Street and University Avenue.
Bring the whole family and get in the picture for a complete “family” portrait. Photos are $5 each, however, guests are welcome to bring their own camera.
Admission is free. Dogs must be on leash at all times and have proof of current rabies vaccination.
City of Lubbock Animal Services will be available during this event to provide microchips for your dogs at a cost of $10 per dog (while supplies last). Micro-chipping is a permanent way to ensure that your pets can be identified should they ever become lost. To participate in this program, dog owners must reside within the city limits, bring exact change and show proof of rabies vaccination.
