Lubbock Chamber of Commerce, KAMC-TV Host State Senate Debate

LUBBOCK, TX – The Lubbock Chamber of Commerce and KAMC-TV hosted a debate Friday afternoon for the candidates running for the Texas State Senate District 28 seat.

Topics addressed during the debate included health care, small business, transportation funding and states water policy.

Six men are vying for the Texas State Senate District 28 seat. The special election will be held on Tuesday, September 9.

Republican candidates running in the special election include Charles Perry, Jodey Arringon, E.M. Garza and Delwin Jones. Democrat Greg Wortham and Libertarian Kerry Douglas McKennon are the other two candidates vying for the seat.

The hour-long debate will air Tuesday, August 26 at 6:00 PM on KAMC-TV
