LUBBOCK, TX -- According to the Lubbock County Commissioners Court agenda, Carleton “C.J.” Peterson will be sworn in Monday morning as Precinct Four Lubbock County Constable. Peterson defeated two other Republican opponents in the March 4 primary and faces no opposition in November general election.

Brenda Willis stepped down recently as Precinct Four Constable to run for Justice of the Peace. Peterson will be sworn in Monday to fill the unexpired term. Then, he will be sworn in again at the start of 2015 to begin serving his own term.
