Lubbock Police Report Updated Sighting of Murder Suspects in Rios Case

LUBBOCK, TX -- Lubbock Police said Thursday that two murder suspects were last seen Wednesday in Hobbs.  Noel Serrano, 18, and Mayra Caraveo, 21, are wanted for the murder of Fabian Rios, 18, in the 2000 block of 89th Street.  Rios’ body was found in the front yard of a home.  He had been shot and stabbed.

Police said Serrano and Caraveo might be headed to Colorado.  They were last seen in a black 2004 Ford Explorer Sport-Trac with New Mexico license plate HNW231

Serrano is described as 5’3” and 145 pounds.  He has black hair and brown eyes.  Caraveo is described 5’4” and 120 pounds.  She has brown hair and brown eyes.
