LUBBOCK, TX -- A Lubbock man, Andrew Scott Fisher, 28, was indicted Tuesday by a Lubbock County grand jury for exploitation of two elderly people. Fisher is accused of taking nearly $18,000 from a couple in Lubbock whose ages are 79, and 84.

A police report in April said an “Adult protective services caseworker reported that [two victims] are being exploited by [the suspect] who is continuing to take money from them.”

Online public records did not specifically say how Fisher was accused of taking the money, but officials said he was withdrawing money from their bank account. Bank employees tipped off police who then investigated.

Fisher was held Tuesday evening in lieu of a $25,000 bond.
