On Thursday the family said during an on-camera interview that Jayden died under suspicious circumstances while visiting his father in Fort Worth.

“He was funny, he was loving, he was always smiling and happy,” said Jayden's aunt, Juana Zavala.  “No mom deserves to go through something like this.”

Jayden’s family on his mother’s side in Lubbock is trying to raise money to bring the boy’s body home and give him a funeral.  On Thursday the family said donations for the funeral can be dropped off at Chapel Grace Funeral Home on 34th Street.
