LUBBOCK, TX -- Missing teen girl Braxtan Blaik Ostrander, 17, of Lubbock County has been found safe according to a Wednesday afternoon statement by the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Department.

The statement said, “She was located and safely taken into custody in Forney, TX by the Texas Rangers just shortly after noon this date.”

The statement also said, “Ostrander was in the company of her boyfriend Dennis Davis, and is believed to have left on her own free will. There are no pending charges at this time.”

A previous statement said, “She was last seen Friday, March 21 at 10:30 am.”

Although she turned up missing from Lubbock, her family lives in Lubbock County and so the Sheriff’s Department took the case. Ostrander’s parents were in route early Wednesday evening to pick her up.
