Muleshoe Family Loses Home in Fire

MULESHOE, TX -- Four people were left homeless after a house fire Wednesday morning in Muleshoe. The Muleshoe Police Department responded to a call at approximately 8 a.m.  According to police, three adults and one child were left homeless. There were no injuries reported, and the home was declared a total loss.

Assistance was provided to the victims from the Red Cross of Lubbock in the form of clothing, shoes and food. According to a representative of the Red Cross, the victims currently have a safe place to stay.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
