LUBBOCK, TX - Lubbock Police said Damian Ray Villareal, 22, of Lubbock was arrested Tuesday evening for the aggravated robbery of Picantes Restaurant on January 27.
“Three suspects entered the restaurant,” police said in a previous statement. “One of the suspects displayed a handgun and told everyone to get on the ground while demanding money and personal property.”
In that same statement police said, “After taking items from the restaurant, the employees and patrons, the three suspects fled the scene.”
Police said that two suspects, Phillip Velazquez and Joseph Gonzalez Jr., were still at large.
Villareal was held Wednesday morning in the Lubbock County Detention Center on a $100,000 bond.
