Suspect Arrested Following Hit-and-Run Incident at Northwest Lubbock Car Wash Wednesday Afternoon

LUBBOCK, TX - At approximately 1317 hours, officers responded to a report of a hit-and-run accident at 315 Frankford Ave (Racer Car Wash). Upon arrival, officers located a victim with serious injuries. Witnesses reported that a vehicle
backed over the victim, shifted into drive, and ran over the victim again. The driver then fled the scene. 

Officers quickly acted on witness information and, through their investigation, located the suspect vehicle at 210 N. Winston. The driver was located near the vehicle and arrested. 

The victim, identified as Donald Carpenter, 57, was transported to University Medical Center and was listed in critical condition.

Vehicle – 2007 Tan Dodge Durango, TX/BWX7934
