Police Release Suspect Description in Thanksgiving Armed Robbery

LUBBOCK, TX - Lubbock Police released new information Friday about an armed robbery that happened on Thanksgiving in Central Lubbock.  

Police said at about 9:15 Thursday night, officers responded to the 7-Eleven located at 2608 Avenue Q.
 
Police said, “Officers were advised two black males walked into the store with their faces covered and approached the counter. The suspects both had firearms and demanded money.”

Police initially said on Thursday night that the men were armed with shotguns.  A written statement from police on Friday did not specify the weapons. 

“The two suspects were given an undisclosed amount of money from the register and then ran from the store,” police said on Friday.
 
Police also said, “One of the suspects was approximately 6-foot and was wearing tan pants, a tan jacket and had a white shirt wrapped around his face. The other suspect was approximately 5’08” to 5’10” and was wearing a yellow shirt and a blue bandana to cover his face.”
