Police Seek Help After 80-Year-Old Woman Killed in Hit & Run

LUBBOCK, TX (PRESS RELEASE) -- The Lubbock Police Department Accident Investigations Unit continues to seek witnesses to a recent traffic accident that resulted in the death of Margaret Alford. Margaret Alford was found in the roadway at 54th and Bangor Ave on May 30, 2014 at 5:09. She had suffered severe injuries that she succumbed to on June 9th.

The reward for information that leads to identifying the suspect in this felony Failure to Stop and Render Aid case has been increased to $5,000.00.

Editor's note:  Ms. White was 79 years old at the time of the incident.  She turned 80 two days before her death.
